Berlin, 24th of March 2022 – The PropTech Sensorberg, which specialises in the digitalisation of real estate and smart storage solutions, has signed a framework agreement with Berlin-based Space Plus Store GmbH (Space Plus) on the digitalisation of its portfolio of storage and coworking/flex office space. Sensorberg will equip the Space Plus locations Krefeld, Hagen, Essen and Braunschweig with a total of over 13,000 m² with technical infrastructure and software for digital access control.
Space Plus is a new player in the German self-storage market. The company aims to expand rapidly in the German market and establish itself as an industry-leading self-storage brand. Space Plus focuses on a combination of storage space for private individuals and businesses as well as workspace concepts in the coworking and flex office sector, always with a focus on using the latest technologies. The smart storage solution implemented by Sensorberg in the Space Plus locations enables contactless opening of the storage rooms directly via an app on the smartphone. This gives customers round-the-clock access to the premises as well as to their own box in the building. The door and storage box opening via smartphone using the Space Plus app not only works online, but also offline via Bluetooth. This minimises the risk of failure. All digital features are controlled via the Sensorberg IoT platform. In addition to opening doors and storage boxes, this can be expanded at any time to include other applications such as opening lockers and meeting rooms.
